Buddhaland is a country in Southern Indiana in Lawrence County. The country had a population of 10 in the 2016 census. The country's capital is Turtle Bend.
Ben, Madilyn, Kaitlyn, Ryan, and Vernon Wray formed the Buddha Team. They built a dam on a bend in Wray Creek. The settlement was approximately 48 yds. away from nearby Fort Benjamin. The town was incorporated on January 31, 2016 along with Fort Benjamin. On March 19, 2016, Ben and Madilyn Wray announced the Madilyn Interstate system and a new car. The car would run on foot power (Driver moves foward, passengers reverse). The four interstates will be I-26, I-71, I-171, and I-286.
On June 19, 2016, the official language was invented. The language was called Inta Inta. The language consists of 27 letters: The original Latin Alphabet plus the letter Å/å. The same day, plans for a speedway were removed, which now the race track is to be on a downward slope.
First Presidential ElectionEdit
On June 17, 2016, Benjamin Wray, who was the incumbent vice president announced his run for president. Soon afterwards, Madilyn Wray announced her running, followed by Ryan Wray the next day. On July 17, 2016, a primary vote was taken. Benjamin Wray won with 4 votes, Madilyn Wray followed with 3 votes, and Ryan Wray trailed behind with 1 vote. On October 7, 2016, the election was held at the Buddhaland capital building. The winner was Benjamin Wray, with five votes. The vice president was Ryan Wray, who dropped out in the primaries.
