the Battle of Jaskai (1959) was the second battle for the city of Jaskai, Japan, or known at the time as Jaskai, United Soviet Socialist Republic of Japan. a USSR puppet state operating in South Japan at the time. the battle began early Christmas Morning of 1959 and ended with Nikolai Dia II's death around 1800 hours on December 30th.

History[]

Around 0300 hours on December 25, 1959, Japanese forces entered Jaskai State, USSRJ in a attempt to talk them into joining Japan, however Soviet forces detected the troops and opened fire on the troops at 0347 hours. the firing stopped at 0418 hours, and 327 Japanese troops were killed, as well as 14 Soviet troops. the leader of Japan received the info at 0500 hours, and declared war on the USSRJ at 0530 hours, 65,000 troops were moved into Jaskai State between 0545 and 0700 hours...the troops arrived in the city of Jaskai, USSRJ at 0715 hours on December 25th...heavy fire started between Soviet and Japanese forces at 0730 hours, forces were pushed back northward to about 110 miles north of Jaskai by 1200 hours on December 26th, forces arrived in East Square, Jaskai around 1845 hours on December 26th, a Japanese solider killed himself to protect his squad around 2000 hours on the 26th by strapping a very large bomb to himself. USSRJ forces were pushed all the way back to south Jaskai State by 0500 hours on the 27th...however forces got back to Jaskai around 1600 hours on December 30th, Nikolai Dia II was being escorted back to the office when at 1807 hours on December 30th, a Japanese solider (Yakushimaru Tsuyoshi) sniped him in the head...he died at 1809 hours. Japan withdrew their forces at 1900 hours. the Japanese sniper was blown up by a shell at 1823 hours while running from the scene.

19,028 Japanese troops died in the battle, as well as 37,238 Soviet troops...2 major government leaders of Japan were killed...and all major government leaders of the USSRJ were killed. 42,013 Japanese citizens died, as well as 103,238 USSRJ citizens, 2 North Korean citizens, 1 American citizen, 3 Vietnamese citizens, 1 South Korean citizen, 4 Chinese citizens, 3 British citizens and 1 Polish citizen.
