The supercell outbreak caused several tornadoes, one of which were devastating.

Sesco/Pierra Tornado Edit

At 4:02 PM, April 31, 2001, a large supercell spawned a small tornado 3 miles offshore Pierra, New Gilberto, Quextin. The tornado rapidly gained strength as it moved towards Pierra. At 4:05 PM, it struck downtown Pierra. Large skyscrapers being clipped by the 2.2 mile wide tornado still rocked like in an earthquake. The Quextin Bank building collapsed as the first floor pillars holding the building up got destroyed, killing 102 people. Fortunately, the tornado struck on a Sunday, so very few people were at work. The tornado traxked all the way to the base of the Vihays, then dissipated soon after. The towns of Pierra and Sesco were completely destroyed.
